When traveling, I like to find breweries and establishments to enjoy the local beers where I am. Visiting at least 3 places when I travel is always my plan. I was able to visit three great places while I was in Spokane, Washington for a hiking trip. I recommend visiting these three breweries in Spokane, WA.
Black Label Brewing Company is located at W. 19 Main Spokane, WA. The brewery is located in the Saranac Commons. You will notice that there are many eateries inside here and they all share space with one another. It has a very fresh and open feel to the whole area. I was only here for a quick lunch, which I got at Stella’s Cafe and Bar. I had a cheeseburger from them and it was amazing! Unfortunately, I was only able to have one beer with my lunch since I had to get some things taken care of.
The people were really nice in all the locations. The bartender at Black Label Brewery Company was very knowledgeable and helpful. This was a great spot for lunch.
Blonde Ale
Blonde Ale – Ale 5.2% ABV
I really enjoyed this location. When I visit Spokane again, I will have lunch here again so I can try different beer options. Highly recommend visiting this establishment. I give this a 4-Pint rating.
Brick West Brewery Company is located at 1318 1st Ave Ste 1 Spokane, WA. This is a great brewery that I visited on a Friday night. There is a large outdoor area that had a DJ, cornhole, and an awesome street taco truck. This brewery is also very dog-friendly.
Inside, they have plenty of beer options to chose from. They also have a great menu when the taco truck is not there. The staff was very friendly and full of fun. I felt like I could have spent all afternoon at this location. It was a great time relaxing, drinking a few beers, listening to music, and just taking in Spokane.
Riverside
Kolsch – 5.6% ABV
Big Heart
German Style Heffewissen – 5.4% ABV
Pineapple Mango Cider
Cider – 5.1% ABV
This location was a lot of fun. If you are ever out in Spokane, this is the place you have to visit. If I lived in Spokane, I would be at this brewery all the time. I give this a 4-Pint rating.
No-Li Brewhouse is located at 1003 East Trent Ave. #170 Spokane, WA. We picked this brewery for the fact that while we were in Avery, ID, my brother kept drinking a beer by them. This is a very nice brewery with a great outdoor area and awesome food. Their food was really good here, I had a great cajun chicken sandwich. One of the best I have had.
We had a few different beers here. Every beer that we tasted was really enjoyable. This brewery had great views of their TVs for game day. I will say, and it could have been just the time we were there, Ni-Lo makes a lot of IPA’s. So all you IPA drinkers, you will really enjoy this spot. They have a great outdoor area to enjoy your drinks.
Porch Glow
Amber Ale – Ale – 5% ABV and 10 IBU
This beer is a slightly fruity, highly drinkable amber ale that has a hint of chocolate malt, the perfect hops-malt balance, and a gentle, lager-like body that finishes crisp and refreshing.
Corner Coast
Golden Ale – Ale – 4.8% ABV and 20 IBU
This beer is a light, crisp, and refreshingly smooth ale with a slightly sweet, fully approachable golden ale with a hint of citrus, courtesy of Citra, Comet, and Madarina Bavaria hops.
Guava Smash
6.1% ABV and 35 IBU
I really enjoyed this location. There is a great selection of beer with some great food. Highly recommend visiting this establishment. I give this a 4-Pint rating.
